
Weather Forecast for Friday
The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) has issued its daily forecast report for the weather in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The report said the moderate and torrential thundershowers, accompanied by active winds will be forecasted to fall in some parts of Narjan, Jazan, Asir, Baha, and Makkah regions, while the thunderstorms, accompanied by active dusty winds are still forecasted to fall on some parts of Riyadh, Qassim, Hail, Tabuk, Northern Borders, and Jawf regions, reducing the horizontal sight.
The report added that the surface dusty winds will be active in the Eastern region, reducing the horizontal sight and the fog will be seen during the night and early morning hours in some parts of Jazan, Asir, Baha, and Makkah regions.
The report showed that the surface wind movement in the Red Sea will be northeasterly, turning southwesterly, at a speed of 15-35km/h on the northern part and northwesterly to westerly at a speed of 15-30km/h, on the central and southern parts, reaching more than 45km/h, with thunderstorms, on the southern part, while the surface wind movement in the Arabian Gulf will be northwesterly at a speed of 15-45mk/h.
