Implementation of Makkah Route Initiative in Indonesia Aims to Facilitate Pilgrims' Entry Procedures, Saudi Ambassador Says

The Saudi Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia, Faisal bin Abdullah Al-Amoudi, said that the implementation of the Makkah Route Initiative in Indonesia aims to facilitate the completion of procedures for the entry of pilgrims from Indonesia to Saudi Arabia before they leave their country.

He stressed in a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) that Saudi Arabia has been harnessing all its financial and human capabilities to serve the pilgrims from the era of King Abdulaziz bin Abdulrahman Al Saud to the current era of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister. The Saudi Ambassador indicated that the Makkah Route Initiative comes as a continuation of the Kingdom's efforts to serve the pilgrims in many countries, including those of the Republic of Indonesia.

The ambassador praised cooperation between the two countries in providing facilities that serve the Makkah Route Initiative, thanking the Ministry of Religious Affairs of Indonesia, which cooperated in the success of the Initiative.
